Supply trunk assessment
The main supply trunk distributes conditioned air to branches and may be lined, insulated or bare sheet metal.
What to observe
Request access-point photos showing the trunk material, visible deposits and any obstruction.
A field example
A camera view of one branch near a bedroom cannot describe the main trunk below a finished basement. An estimate should say where the trunk was actually accessed and which portions were unseen.
What the written work should say
A proposal should name the trunk, branch runs and equipment components included, with access closures described.
Where this task stops
A vacuum hose shown at one register does not demonstrate that the trunk was assessed.
