Blower housing cleaning
The housing surrounds the fan wheel and directs air; dust can collect where the curved housing meets the outlet.
What to observe
Inspect the housing floor, scroll and outlet seam, not only the visible face of the wheel.
A field example
A buildup in the curved scroll can be missed by a camera aimed straight at the wheel. Ask to see the outlet and lower housing; loose debris there should be captured before the fan sends it downstream.
What the written work should say
Confirm whether deposits are physically removed and captured rather than blown into downstream ductwork; document panel reassembly.
Where this task stops
Housing cleaning does not correct an undersized return or a failing motor.
